I started getting this android is starting....optimizing apps 1 of 1. after reading this thread, i found the problem to be zedge. i've used this app for about 6 years, then a recent forced update started causing the error, making my phone take about 15 minutes to boot. i uninstalled zedge and got rid of the problem.. "android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution.
Your question can actually be interpreted a couple of ways: (1) your device is displaying “optimizing apps” on every boot; or (2) the “optimizing apps” notification is displaying after an update or a factory data reset. in any event, i'll try and answer this question under either scenario.. Initially, android users did not have this problem, but once version 5.0 lollipop started rolling out, a lot of them started seeing the android optimizing apps message after a reboot. specifically, what they got was “ android is starting. optimizing app 1 of x,” with x being the total number of apps they had.. Hello guys, i recently got an s6 edge sprint.. g925p. it went off few days ago and is now stuck in a bootloop. i have wiped cache and data from recovery, still no joy. it comes on.. says android is starting, optimizing app xx of 56...
