Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering 2014 for admission to B.Tech Programmes at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore) campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for 2014-15, will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on 13th April 2014 (Sunday).

Coimbatore Campus: Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
Applications are processed at Coimbatore campus. Hence all B.Tech applications shall be sent to the Coimbatore Campus only.
Applicant should have been born on or after 1st July 1993. Applicant should have a pass in 10+2 ( class XII ) or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects or should hold a three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education. Those who are appearing for the above examinations in March / April 2014 and expect to secure minimum marks as above may also apply.
Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). Cost of Application kit is Rs.1000/-, which covers the cost of Application form, University Brochure, Information Handbook and Examination fee.

It can be obtained from designated Post Offices as well as from designated branches of Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd., Federal Bank, AXIS Bank, and Karur Vysya Bank on payment of Rs.1000/-.

There is provision for Semi - Online Application submission. Application may be submitted online athttp://117.240.224.21/oars/index.php and fee paid by way of Demand draft. After submitting the online application, a printout (Laser or inkjet only) of the completed application has to be taken on a good quality A4 size paper. Applicant has to paste a recent passport size colour photograph and also affix signature of self and Parent / Guardian on it. Fee has to be paid by way of a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- drawn in fovour of Amrita School of Engineering Payable at Coimbatore. The completed printout along with the DD should be sent in good quality envelope to ‘The Admission Co-ordinator, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritanagar Post, Ettimadai , Coimbatore 641 112’. Applicant should write his / her Name and ‘B.Tech. Application’, on the back of the Demand Draft and also keep a photocopy of the filled-in application and Demand Draft for future reference.
